Family Traditions

We all have those traditions in our families that just run deep. One of ours is getting together for gun season. We all look forward to it every year. It's a time of the year that we all get to eat good food, make lots of pepperoni rolls (my West Virginian's know what I am talking about), and hunt with our rifles all week. We gather together with family and friends, shoot our guns, eat good food, tell a lot of stories (some may or may not be true.. who knows because it's hunting season), and put on a lot of miles trekking these WV mountains.

It's always fun when we can get together and just let loose and have a great time. Sometimes we need to remember that it's not always about the bucks taken this week, it's about the memories made and the fun times that we get to have with our family and friends.

I encourage you to get out there, take your families (even kids...ps.. these www.walkersgameear.com/kids/ are a game changer), and enjoy your week! Have a safe and successful hunt this Thanksgiving week! Make sure to let us know what your favorite family traditions are when it comes to hunting season! We hope you make lots of family memories and even a little deer jerky ! :)
